6 Ways To Make The Japanese Language Like You
You like the Japanese language. No, you love it. That should be all that matters, right? Well if you want a good relationship, Japanese has to like you as well. And that’s not going to just happen by itself. Life isn’t that easy. You have to work towards creating a future together.
So how do you get Japanese to like you?
6. Spend more time with it
There is a lot of time in the day, and when you are only barely giving any effort to see Japanese, it thinks it isn’t loved. When it isn’t loved, it won’t show you love.
Pay more attention to it, go places with it, and make sure it knows you care.
5. Don’t make it jealous
So you are spending time with Japanese, but every time you two are together, you always bring along someone else: English. No matter how close you are, how do you think Japanese feels every time you bring English up. All you ever talk about is English. And often times you get so involved with English, that Japanese isn’t even your main focus.
Don’t let Japanese feel betrayed. It’s Japanese you love. No need for a third wheel.
4. Take things slowly
No one likes to be rushed into a relationship. You expect too much, too quickly, and Japanese won’t feel the respect it deserves.
3. Get to know it well
Japanese has a lot going on in its life. But you just focus on one aspect. It has so much to show you, but you only care about one part. Get to know everything about Japanese, and it will show you everything you are missing out on. Love it for everything it is.
2. Listen to it more
You just love to talk. Well being a good listener is the key to any good relationship. You learn more, you understand more what Japanese is saying, and your connection grows.
1. Think about and prepare for the future together
Everyone in a relationship wants security and the thought of a bright future together. Have you discussed your long term plans? Don’t just focus too much on the present. Have you shown that you will always be there for Japanese, for many years to come?
Improve your relationship even further
How else have you gotten Japanese to like you and set yourself up as the best couple ever?

Very clever. Great post =)
This… Is surprisingly motivating. And witty. Kudos to you, sir!
Great analogy. I imagine quitting Japanese would also have a lot of parallels with breakups: you get an uncomfortable feeling every time you see them around, you always wonder in the back of your mind if things could have worked out, etc.
I tried taking out my Japanese Textbook to a nice fancy restaurant but they wouldn’t give me a table for two. How rude!
Should’ve just gone out for ramen.
