Jalup Next service has now concluded. You will no longer have access to the site, and all account information will be deleted.

If for some reason you didn’t get this service termination announcement and still want to move to the Jalup app, send me an email with your transfer request (including whether you want iOS or Android). I am keeping a record of purchases, so as long as your email appears there, I should be able to verify it. You will then receive instructions how to make the switch. If you prefer the Anki version rather than the Jalup app, let me know and I can provide that instead. But there is no way to transfer Jalup NEXT to Anki progress.

Dear Jalup Next Users:

Jalup NEXT will be passing the baton to the Jalup mobile app (iOS and Android). They are and will continue to be better in every way, and is where all development is going. As a Jalup NEXT user, you are able to fully have your purchase(s) and progress transferred over to the new mobile apps, for free. If you’ve purchased maximum, you will also get all future content (Hero, Master and beyond) for free.

Send me an email with your transfer request (including whether you want iOS or Android) and a screenshot of your purchases. You will then receive instructions how to make the switch. If you prefer the Anki version rather than the Jalup app, let me know and I can provide that instead. But there is no way to transfer Jalup NEXT to Anki progress.

Two important things:

1. Jalup Next will continue to run until June 21st, 2019, and then will be shut down completely. All accounts and data will be deleted.

2. If something happens to Jalup NEXT before June 21st, 2019 – for example, something unexpected or out of my control causes the site to crash – Jalup NEXT will not be repaired and will end on this earlier date.

Thank you so much for using and supporting Jalup NEXT up until now. I promise you that I will continue working hard to make your Japanese journey as amazing as possible. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me any time.

The web service Jalup NEXT is no longer registering new accounts. Current users will be able to continue using their existing accounts. Please use the new mobile app ‘Jalup’ on iOS or Android for a much improved experience.

To Current Users: Jalup NEXT will still be supported, but it is highly recommended that you move over to one of the mobile apps. The mobile apps are what will continue to be developed. You will be able to fully have your purchase(s) and progress transferred over to the new mobile app, for free. This is a one time transfer. There is no syncing back from the mobile apps to Jalup NEXT.

  1. Send me an e-mail request, with a screenshot of your purchases (from the Account Tab) and your Jalup NEXT e-mail. Let me know which mobile version (iOS or Android) you want to transfer to.
  2. I will send you a few simple instructions on how to make the switch.
